An Adobe Illustrator Project for school. It's pretty much stolen from the incredible Samwise, a concept artist for Blizzard Entertainment (Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo).

I redrew [link] in my sketchbook and used my lines as references in the process. In the end, I left out the girl and dragonflies for time's sake and made the sky a much more simple gradient out of pure laziness (though I do like the effect of a burning sun it gives).

So far it's been in a couple art shows here and I'm glad nobody's arrested me. . . :[
I feel like a horrible art thief, even though mine does look significantly different (and less skilled).

Coincidentally (I didn't know this when I started), if you look closeley at Samwise's, it looks as though his is a vector work as well. Go figure.

We've also been putting it on little magnets, since my friends and I love Pandarens and wouldn't mind one scrambling our monitors. I mean, look at them. Just... look.
