Every Story has an End

Very interesting. I admire your use of cross-hatching to suggest the subtle shading of the figure. It makes his face look very "craggy".

The colour of the character's face looks almost "bloody". I was led to think of raw meat. Not only that, I was kind of reminded of a character from Hellraiser (please don't think I'm being disrespectful, here)

The text underneath the picture make this look like an illuminated manuscript. I think it really would have looked good (not that it doesn't look good as it is) if you'd stained the paper first to make it look "aged". Just a thought, anyway.
